Deformed Steel Bar

Deformed Steel bars are steel bars that have surface projections and indentations within them (sometimes referred to as 'ribs') thus enabling them to have a greater bond strength and overall friction in construction when compared to the traditional smooth and round rebars.

Deformed Steel bars possess several key characteristics, including high tensile strength, excellent bonding properties, and ductility. They are typically made from carbon steel, and their material grade is often specified by the yield strength, such as Grade 40 or Grade 60.
